Everything that has a beginning has an end.

Mr. Anderson?
Why do you do it?
Why get up?
Why keep fighting?
Do you believe you’re fighting for something?
For more than your survival?
Can you tell me what it is?
Do you even know?
Is it freedom?
Or truth?
Perhaps peace?
Yes? No?
Could it be for love?
Illusions, Mr. Anderson.
Vagaries of perception.
The temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose.
And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love.
You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson.
You must know it by now.
You can’t win.
It’s pointless to keep fighting.
Why, Mr. Anderson?
Why do you persist?
Because I choose to.

La historia sigue en:
- Mr. Anderson… you disappoint me.

“Can you hear me, Morpheus? I’m going to be honest with you. I hate this place, this zoo, this prison, this reality, whatever you want to call it. I can’t stand it any longer. It’s the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink. And every time I do I feel I have somehow been infected by it. It’s repulsive, isn’t it? I must get out of here. I must get free and in this mind is the key, my key. Once Zion is destroyed there is no need for me to be here, don’t you understand? I need the codes. I have to get inside Zion, and you have to tell me how. You’re going to tell me or you’re going to die.” - Agent Smith

“You hear that Mr. Anderson?… That is the sound of inevitability… It is the sound of your death… Goodbye, Mr. Anderson…” - Agent Smith
I’d like to share a revelation that I’ve had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you’re not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You’re a plague and we are the cure. - Agent Smith
